Youth United offers all secondary school age young people the
opportunity to have fun, meet, socialize and participate in a range
of events. The group is run by parent voluntaries and the team
always needs more helpers! The sessions are either 'Club nights' or
special nights. Club nights are held in the Keenan rooms after
6.30pm mass on a Saturday night once a month with playstations,
tuck shop, table tennis, pool, cards and an opportunity to chill.
The special nights are an opportunity to go outside the parish and
have some fun together these have included bowling, St Crispin's
sports sessions, ice skating and many more events.
The group is a Catholic Youth Group and open to all Parish young
people. Pray is not an integral part of the group but it is
expected where possible that the youth attend the 6.30pm mass prior
to attending youth group. The group has raised funds for the Africa
fund and the group is part of parish life.
Each child must have a signed parental agreement and medical
form completed. The team is subject to the Child Protection
guidance of the parish.
Registration is via the Parish Office or you can drop in at the
start of any session and speak to a leader for information.
