Priorities for 2010

 Catechesis

• New leader to continue recruitment of Readers, and run more training.
• Improve Eucharistic Ministers roster system, and continue training and recruitment.
• Improve adult formation within the parish.
• Continue to support Youth United, and develop further youth initiatives.
• Prepare for Confirmation programme in 2011.
• Continue First Holy Communion plans with St Teresa's School, and for  those at other schools.
• Continue Marriage Preparation development.

Liturgy

• Continue to develop parish music policy
• Continue to develop parish liturgy
• Improve support for sacristan
• Run Lourdes pilgrimage
• Plan trip to Pope's UK visit
• Consider future parish pilgrimages
• Develop altar servers training and co-ordination

Outreach

• Improve support for CTW
• Maintain support for CAFOD and CCAF
• Continue to raise awareness and encourage support for Fairtrade.
• Consider establishing support for local needy in Wokingham.

Welcoming

• Update 'Welcome Pack' (annually).
• Continue to improve new parishioners' procedures.
• Run social activities for the Anniversary, including joint parish/school BBQ and reception for Bishop's visit.
• Consider if practical ways to welcome returning Catholics can be found.

Pastoral Care

• Continue to develop support for those with special needs.
• Examine the need for a Carers Support Group and establish when necessary.
• Develop co-ordinated sick visiting/assistance system.
• Implement new Safeguarding plans and procedures across the parish.
• Continue to build bereavement support activities. 

Administration

• Implement plans for support for parish secretary.
• Implement new plans for care of the parish gardens.

Communications

• Develop the web site as the major parish communications tool
• Make plans for helping those without web access to remain in touch.
• Consider improvements to the Newsletter.
• Improve notice board management

St Teresa's School

• Continue to improve parish/school liaison.

PPC General

• Continue to ensure PPC members are known to the parish

Pastoral Area

• Continue to develop the PA, in accordance with Diocesan plans.
