"The Mighty Oz" will take place Christmas 2010, at Holme
Grange School
Putting on a pantomime is more than just acting & singing.
It involves over 70 people of different ages, abilities and skills.
Everyone is welcome, this year WE REALLY NEED YOU!
It's a great way to get to know people, make new friends and
have lots of fun.
Key Dates:
- Auditions: Monday 13th September, 7.30pm - 9pm & Saturday
18th September, 10am - 2pm
- Rehearsals Start: 26th September - Sundays (3/4pm - 7pm) and
Mondays (7:30 - 9pm)
- Show week: 12th- 18th December 2010
We particularly need help and support in the following
areas, with the following roles;
- Stage Manager: Plans the construction of the
set and any large prop items, as well as coordinating all
behind-the-scene activities.
- Props/Scenery: With a brand new venue, we need
more help than ever with building the set, sourcing all props and
creating suitable scenery for the panto.
- Chorus: Love to sing but don't want to act?
Can't commit to lots of rehearsals? Then this is the role for
you.
- Back Stage Team: Many hands are needed here.
You will need to be available some days during the show week, in
addition to all the shows themselves.
- Chaperones: These are needed for all
rehearsals and performances. Without them the pantomime could not
take place. Chaperones are required to take a short training
session conducted by Wokingham District council and to have a
current CRB check. The chaperone coordinator will work with you,
and around your own commitments, as to when you chaperone.
- Other Roles: "Can't possibly commit so much
time" well don't despair, you can still help in other roles, such
as COSTUMES, FRONT OF HOUSE, etc.
- Production Team: Meets once a month, to
update on the progress of tasks. Attendance at weekly rehearsals is
not usually required.
If you feel inspired and able to help, or if you have any
further questions, please contact: ccparishpanto@hotmail.co.uk

that you may able to help with.)
